This bill concerns measures that affect the development of infrastructure used by alternative fuel motor vehicles. It establishes a process at the PUC whereby a public utility may undertake implementation of an alternative fuel motor vehicle infrastructure program.
Currently and until September 1, 2018, a distributor can claim an adjustment for taxes paid on tobacco products that are shipped or transported by the distributor to a consumer outside of the state. The bill makes the adjustment permanent.
