HCR 18-1002 is my first initiative passed to be placed on the ballot on Nov. 6, 2018. This resolution proposes an amendment to the Colorado constitution to prohibit slavery and involuntary servitude being used as a punishment for a crime and thereby prohibits slavery and involuntary servitude in all circumstances.
This resolution recognizes the history of the brave African American men and women who served in our nation’s wars and those who continue to serve. This resolution was adopted.
This bill authorizes the State Treasurer to invest state money in securities issued by sovereign national or supranational entity that are rated at least investment grade by nationally recognized rating organization.
